On January 1, 2016, the City of Austin, Texas introduced the EasyPark Personal Parking Meter as an additional parking payment option available to visiting suppliers, contractors, and other short-term users.
EasyPark includes a credit-card–sized electronic device that can be preloaded with parking value and functions as an in-vehicle parking meter. Featuring an LCD screen and four functional buttons, the EasyPark device is designed to be intuitive and easy to use for drivers—while helping reduce capital and operating costs for the service provider.
In addition, PELAGUS IT and PARX provide the EasyPark Mobile pay-by-phone system, a comprehensive enforcement solution, and advanced parking management analytics.
